HostExcellence: Required Server Reboots

Our administrators have been performing required maintenance on our Linux Cloud servers to upgrade our server libraries. In order to do this, several of our servers require reboots. During this process, our administrators found that several servers became stuck and may require secondary reboots. We have identified the servers that require the secondary reboots and are proceeding as swiftly as possible to bring every server back online.

Overnight, our administrators were performing critical system updates on our Linux Cloud servers.  Part of this update required a system reboot.  Unfortunately, due to an unexpected issue more servers were rebooted at one time than the system can handle.  Our system can only reboot so many servers at once and this has caused a queue for servers that are in need of a reboot.

We are processing through as many reboots as we can prioritizing servers that were halted because their initial reboot failed.  At this time, we have canceled any further pending reboots for servers that applied updates, but still need a reboot.  These will be rescheduled for another date and time.

DreamHost: Live Chat Unavailable Friday, February 19th , 4am to Saturday, February 20th, 4am PDT
