ixwebhosting: Maintenance and Memory Upgrade – Resolved

System Administrators discovered a memory error in one of the blades serving CloudbyIX VMs.  To prevent possible complications, the blade will be taken offline while memory is replaced and additional memory is added.  During the maintenance, all VMs will remain online and operate normally but customers will not be able to create new linux VMs.  New Linux VMs will be able to be created normally once maintenance is completed.

DreamHost: Email/Webmail connectivity issues on sub4 mail cluster

We are currently investigating email connectivity and performance issues. Affected are webmail for all email addresses and sending/receiving messages through email clients for the homiemail-sub4 email cluster only. All other email clusters should be able to send and receive through a stand-alone email clients. Our teams are working diligently towards resolution. We will post more information as we have it. Update – January 12th, 2:05pm PDT: Our engineering teams have identified the source of the performance issues as a particularly problematic file storage server, and have begun to offload customers in order to restore optimal performance. This process is expected to take between one and two weeks to complete, as the  offload will be performed in a nature that will not further degrade performance. We’ll update this post daily or when new information is available.
