ixwebhosting: Customer Phishing Scam Warning

We have received a notice from some of our customers about a phishing scam targeted at our customers. This scam, sent via email, is meant to entice IX Web Hosting customers into logging in to a fake website that looks similar to our login page in order to win a free cell phone. Please note that this is a scam and is an attempt to steal your login information by a third party. Here is the text of the email our customers have been receiving:

Dear Customer,

This is your chance to win a brand new Samsung Galaxy V . Only IX Web Hosting customers will get this chance. All participants will get only one chance to win this prize.

This is not all, 100 customers will get 1 year free webhosting and 1000 will be given the chance to buy 1 free domain (only .com, .net, .us and 2 years free rebuy).

DreamHost: Network infrastructure maintenance – June 19th 6PM PDT (2 hours)

On Thursday June 19th, starting at 6:00PM PDT we will be replacing one of the network switches in our mail infrastructure. We expect no major impact to customers accessing mail. This is a proactive maintenance, and the previous maintenance in this series was executed seamlessly. We expect this maintenance to perform the same.

Update, 6:43 PM Pacific Daylight Time: And everything is complete! All went as planned. If you have any questions regarding this, please let us know by contacting Support.
