Our Rackspace Engineers have identified an issue that is causing email delays and intermittent connectivity from a set of our authenticated email servers. Our Engineers are diligently working on this issue. Please note that the unauthenticated, email relays are not affected.

Update: As of approximately 10:00 AM CST, the intermittent connectivity mail issue from our mail servers has been resolved.

Update: As of 11:30 AM CST, the email delays are in the process of clearing out. We will continue to monitor this situation.

Update: As of approximately 4:30 PM CST, the email delays impacting some Cloud Sites customers have been cleared. This issue is now resolved.

DreamHost: Dreamhoststatus.com outtage * RESOLVED “

Unfortunately, the server that houses dreamhoststatus.com had a bit of a problem tonight, and crashed. We have been working with our remote partners to restore this service (as dreamhoststatus.com is hosted off our normal network), however it looks like a complete hard drive failure has happened! We’ve lost all data for the time being.

We’re working to restore that, but for now, this blank domain we have here, will serve the same purpose. We’ll keep this site updated with further info on what happens.

Luckily, this only effects dreamhoststatus.com, and no customer sites/databases/anything else are effected!

Our Windows Admins have detected a DDoS attack against the iis316 server, as well as the associated shared IP address.  We are currently working on both short-term and long-term solutions to resolve this issue.  Until this attack is resolved websites using the shared IP address will be down.
