DreamHost: WordPress 3.0.4 auto upgrades on hold until further notice

If you have previously elected to get your WordPress one-click install to auto upgrade when we release a new version, unfortunately, that didn’t happen yet with this version. If you wish your install to be at the latest version asap, please visit your panel to initiate the upgrade manually, until further notice.

We made 3.0.4 available yesterday, but we’re holding off running the auto upgrades until we can ensure that it won’t back up our other updates running on the system. The solution is being coded as I’m typing this, and we’re hoping to start the auto scheduling later today, but for now, your best bet for a fast upgrade is by going to Goodies/One-Click Installs in your panel and clicking the upgrade button yourself.

DreamHost: shared server ‘ovation’ downtime due to hardware issues – RESOLVED

We sincerely apologize for the downtime being experienced on the shared server ‘ovation’.  The server did not return from a reboot and we are now in the process of moving this server over to new hardware.  We estimate that this will take about 30 minutes.

Update 1:45pm: This has been completed.  The server’s hard drives were successfully migrated to a new machine and the server is back up and running.  If you are experiencing any issues, please contact Support and we will be happy to investigate!  Thanks very much for your patience!

DreamHost: vserver host ‘homie-vserver156′ downtime for RAID card replacement – RESOLVED

We sincerely apologize for the continued issues with this vserver host, which has caused downtime for the VPS guests over the last week.  Due to an issue with the RAID card this morning, we have taken down the server and we are in the process of replacing the RAID card hardware.  This process shouldn’t take very long and we will update this post with the details once they are available.
